Chat & Chew Restaurant

"Had late lunch at the Chat & Chew restaurant. It was not my first visit, and it will not be my last. The food is always good here and the menu although small offers a wide variety of choices. And the offer daily specials. I ordered their roast beef with fried onions and Swiss cheese on toasted sour dough bread. It was served with potato chips and a pickle. I ordered fries too. All was exceptional. The fries were crispy and hot and the sandwich was a good size. The service was good as I'd come to expect. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I don't think you will be disappointed whenever you decide to stop by."

"Old school vibes, decent portion size and very economical. Steak and cheese was great. Sub roll was soft with a slight chew (perfect) and the right amount of griddle love on the shaved beef. Grilled ham and cheese was stuffed with ham, done just right. Onion straws were the perfect size for a starter."

"Went to Chat and Chew Thursday, August 28, 2025. around 4 pm. Was easy to get to and find. There was plenty of parking. We were in a big group and were seated immediately. The interior is not fancy, but has interesting memorabilia, including a life size Elvis. The prices were fair to excellent, especially considering the generous portions. The food was delicious. My wife had chopped liver and onions topped with bacon and I had a double stack bacon cheeseburger. We were both happy. The waiter was friendly and fast. He refilled our drinks several times. Overall, the Char and Chew delivered good service, good food, and a good experience. I recommend it for families, couples, and work groups. I will definitely eat there again. Thanks, Chat and Chew."

"It's always great there Cinnamon rolls as big as can be Yumminess Breakfast isn't just breakfast it's a treat ! Come early It's a great time and you never know who you might run into ... I got to see my cousin's wife Pam ! She came around the cafe to leave and I was standing at the register to pay ... What a joy Family Friends Everyone goes to the "Chat & Chew " ! It's has been a staple for the area for decades A drive in at first Now a sir down restaurant/cafe style on one side Seafood night too It's just a great place to visit , eat and enjoy yourself"

"My husband and I have wanted to stop at this restaurant and just never have. We have drove passed it for several years in our travels. I must say we was very impressed. It's really pretty inside. The waiter was very friendly and our food was delicious. We had the Primerib and a couple starters. See pictures."

"If you're hungry and want to go out to eat, this is the place to go. The food here is consistently good, especially the rib special on Tuesdays and fish special on Fridays. I won't pretend like they have some amazing menu item that's must try, but it's worth going to if you want a decent home cooked meal. I just wish they'd update the dining area. For a place that prices itself for being around for a long time, their seating feels that way sometimes, and not in a good way. Also they blast the AC directly on the seats in the summer so you probably will need a coat even if it's 90 outside."
